The Watkins Glen Writers Group presents a featured reading by Tamar Samuel-Siegel, a poet from Corning, NY, as part of the Watkins Glen Reading Series on Monday, March 28th,2016 at 7:00 PM at the Montour House Café & Tapas Bar at 401 W. Main Street, Montour Falls, NY.
Tamar Samuel-Siegel is the author of two chapbooks, “Enough for Now” and “Where we Come From”. She is also the author, artist and binder of numerous artist books. Tamar has edited and published two collections of writing generated by English language learners. As Programs and Outreach Manager for the Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, she edits a weekly organizational newsletter and is writer mentor and editor of the organization’s blog intern. She is co-curator of the Corning, NY poetry reading series, POETS IN PLAY, and has collaborated previously to bring literary programs to the ARTS Council. Tamar holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing from SUNY Purchase.
The event is funded in part by Poets & Writers, Inc. with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. Following the featured reading will be a short break and an open reading.
