The Watkins Glen Writers Group presents a featured reading by Edward A. Dougherty, poet and writer, from Corning, NY, as part of the Watkins Glen Reading Series on Monday, February 23, 2015 7:00 PM at the Montour House Cafe & Tapas Bar at 401 W. Main St. Montour Falls, NY.
Edward A. Dougherty is the author of EVERYDAY OBJECTS, his third full book of poems. His previous books are PILGRIMAGE TO A GINGKO TREE and PART DARKNESS, PART BREATH, and he has published 5 chapbooks, the most recent of which is BACKYARD PASSAGES (FootHills) and THE LUMINOUS HOUSE (Finishing Line). He is a professor in the Corning Community College in the Communications/Humanities Department. He teaches writing, creative writing, and modern poetry.
An open reading will follow the featured reading after a short break.
